The privacy statement from the ECA Campaign
November 2001
The ECA Campaign is committed to ensuring that your experience with
our action alerts and the overall site is a positive one. Any personal
information that you provide us via this website and email will be
strictly confidential.
If you visit the site:
We collect traffic reports of visitors to the site to analyze the
usage patterns and access to different pages within the site. This
process does not involve gathering of any personally identifiable
information of the visitors to the site.
If you use our e-petition feature:
The e-petition requires that you provide your personally identifiable
information. The information entered in the required fields will be
sent along with your petition email to the target recipient, solely
for identification purposes. The ECA Campaign retains information
entered in both required and optional fields, so that those who request
receiving future action alerts can be identified. Under no circumstances,
however, will the ECA Campaign rent, sell, or otherwise disclose any
personal information that you provide us to third parties outside
of the ECA Campaign without your explicit permission.
Please note that the ECA Campaign is a coalition of NGOs throughout
the world dedicated to the reform of policies and practices of export
credit agencies as outlined in the Jakarta Declaration. The ECA Campaign's
member organizations may, from time to time, choose to contact those
who agreed to receive future updates and alerts around relevant topics
specifically and exclusively for the ECA Campaign, but in such an
instance each member organization is bound to the privacy statement
outlined herein.
If you contact us:
We will retain your email address only to respond to your inquiry.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding this privacy policy
or our website, please contact me at info@eca-watch.org
