IRN presents paper on ECAs and the Environment to China Ex-Im President
On December 8, ECA Watch member, the International Rivers Network, was invited to meet the President of the China Exim Bank in Beijing.
IRN Policy Director Peter Bosshard presented IRN's paper "Export Credit Agencies and Environmental Standards: An Invitation to Join the Dialogue" to President Li Ruogu, as well as the 2005 IRN/Corner House Merowe Dam report.
The meeting was constructive and both parties expressed an interest in continuting the dialogue.
