Belgium
Did you know?
Belgium’s ECA, Ducroire/ Delcredere (ONDD), has been linked to arms sales scandals- including one in which a Green Minister was forced to resign- and human rights scandals, including the Camisea Gas Pipeline Project, the Laotian Houay Ho Dam Project, and the Dabhol Hydropower Project. Ducroire was also cited in a UN expert report on the Illegal Exploitation of Natural Resources and other Forms of Wealth in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (2002).

Ducroire Projects Summary
ECA Watch campaign participants are working to pressure Ducroire to adopt a clear set of norms in relation to the environment, health and safety issues and human rights. Currently, it is operating with a set of policies first established after the ECA signed the 2003 "Common Approaches on Environment" established by the OECD.
