St. Kitts reimburses Italy for official export credit financed fraudulent hydrofoil debt

(Observer, Basseterre, 15 October 2010) St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas announced during a Wednesday press conference that a multi-million dollar debt owed by the government to SACE, an Italian government entity, has been settled; but the Prime Minister failed to mention is that the debt was the result of a scam to finance hydrofoil vessels.
